Our new Nudges feature in Confirm helps your team stay proactive and engaged by allowing users to create targeted notifications across various features in Confirm. Whether it’s a friendly reminder to provide feedback, check in, update aspirations, or refresh OKRs, Nudges keep everyone on track. Here’s how it works:

Who Can Use Nudges?

  • Admins: Create notifications for the entire organization or specific groups.

  • Managers: Send notifications directly to your direct reports.

  • Employees: Set personal reminders for yourself to stay on top of tasks.

Examples of How to Use Nudges

  • For Admins: “A quick reminder to give feedback to your team!”

  • For Managers: “A quick reminder to update your Objectives (OKRs)!”

  • For Employees: “Remember to reflect on this week -- a quick reminder to do your weekly check-in”

How Nudges Are Different from Performance Cycle Notifications

Nudges are distinct from Performance Cycle notifications. While Performance Cycle notifications focus on specific phases related to the performance review process, Nudges provide reminders across Confirm’s broader feature set—including feedback, check-ins, aspirations, OKRs, and more. This makes Nudges a versatile tool for ongoing engagement and task management.

  • Improved Engagement: Keep employees actively involved in their performance management.

  • Customization: Tailor notifications to the needs of individuals or groups.

  • Accountability: Ensure important tasks are completed on time.

How to Set Up a Nudge

  1. Go to Nudges Administration: Located in the 'Company' dropdown.

  2. Choose Your Nudge Type:

    1. Do weekly check-in

    2. Update Objectives

    3. Give feedback to direct reports

    4. Request feedback from others

    5. Create a custom nudge

  3. Set a Schedule: Choose when and how often the Nudge should be sent.

  4. Choose Your Audience: Select the individuals or groups to notify.

  5. Craft Your Message: Write a clear and actionable notification.

  6. Review and Activate: Review and click “Add nudge” to activate.

  • Keep the message concise and actionable.

  • Use positive language to encourage engagement.

  • Schedule Nudges at optimal times for your audience.
