Confirm’s AI-Powered Self Review helps employees draft thoughtful answers by generating AI-powered suggestions based on their past performance, objectives, activities, and feedback.

This reduces the effort for individuals when completing their self-reflections, while still ensuring that answers are personal and editable.

The AI assistant uses all the data available to the employee during the cycle:

  • The person’s review from their last performance cycle (as past context) - if applicable

  • All of the person’s objectives for the current evaluation period (including comments and grades)

  • All of the person’s activities for the current evaluation period

  • All recognition and feedback received during the current evaluation that is visible to the employee

Note that Objectives, Activities, and Continuous Feedback & Recognition do not have to be enabled in the Self Review to be analyzed.

Upon analysing this data and any additional prompts or attachments, answers will be drafted for each self-reflection question, except for the following question types:

  • People Picker questions (not supported)

  • Date Picker questions (not supported)

Configure in Cycle Admin

When setting up a Self-Reflection in Cycle Admin, you can toggle on the AI draft capability at ‘Enable AI drafts’. You then have the option to toggle it on and off on a per-question basis by selecting ‘Edit’ next to each question.

In the Live Cycle

When the cycle is running, employees completing their self-reflections will see a “Generate Draft with AI / Enhance Draft with AI” button at the top of the page, which allows the employee to generate and improve their draft answers across the entire self-reflection form.

Guidance to Employees

This AI capability provides a starting point to make self-reflections less time-consuming. Drafts are intended to be edited and personalized by the employee.
