Overview
Confirm supports content in 9 languages, made available across 12 customer-selectable display locales:
English (US) and English (UK)
German
Spanish
Greek
French and French (Canada)
Italian
Japanese
Korean
Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional)
Which locales are available to your users
Each organization controls which of these locales its users are able to select. If your organization has no localization settings configured, English (US) is used as the fallback language and will be the only option available to end users.
Once your organization enables additional locales, they will appear as choices in the Display Language list. Contact [email protected] if you would like additional locales enabled for your organization.
What gets translated automatically
Confirm automatically translates standard, out-of-the-box questions and all user interface text (buttons, labels, navigation, and system messages) into every enabled locale. No setup is required for this content.
For cycle or survey questions that a System Admin has customized or added, Confirm cannot generate the translation automatically. Admins need to enter their own translation for each enabled language so that end users see custom content in their selected language rather than the original English text.
Entering translations for a customized question
When editing a customized question, select ‘Edit Question’ and enter the Edit Translations panel via the globe icon.
The original English text is shown at the top for reference, followed by an editable field for each enabled language. Enter the translated text in each field; each one supports the same rich text formatting as the original, including bold, italic, underline, lists, links, images, video, attachments, and tables.
Any language left without a translation will fall back to the original English text for end users viewing in that locale.
How end users change their display language
End users can set their own display language from their Account settings. This preference controls the language Confirm uses for buttons, titles, emails, and other system text shown to that user.
Step 1: Open Account settings. Click your profile icon in the top right corner, then select Account from the menu.
Step 2: Locate the Display Language field. On the General tab of the Account page, find the Display language dropdown near the bottom of the page.
Step 3: Choose a language. Click the dropdown and select from the enabled locales. The change takes effect immediately. Only locales enabled for your organization will appear in this list. If your organization has not configured additional locales, English (US) will be the only option shown.
